You can receive CEU credit, provided the material is relevant to your practice and falls within the scope of your practice. The course material must be intended for professionals like yourself and not for general usage. Examples of general usage materials include those related to financial gain, time management, career advancement or computers.
Any nonfiction material will be approved by FasttrackCEUS.com for credit, provided that it is relevant to your scope of practice, enhances your knowledge of your field of psychotherapy or social work, deals with core knowledge, updates your core knowledge or assists in keeping you abreast of recent developments in your field and is written by an expert who is knowledgeable on the subjects.
The process is very simple. All you need to have is the name of the book, journal, audio course or video course, the full name of the author(s), including degree(s) and the length of the course, i.e. total pages of the book or journal or total hours spent listening to or viewing the audio or video course. Thirty-five pages equals one CEU hour. Please note that a minimum of four hours is required to request credit.
